Hans started his wine journey in 2015 with the production of Touriga Nacional and Nebbiolo. In 2014 Thys produced a successful batch of Syrah in the Bot River valley and then joined the team at Rawsonville.

After our collaboration on the Nebbiolo and Touriga Nacional projects in 2016, we successfully crafted a Tinta Amarela and Carmenere batch in 2017, Cinsaut Rose and Cinsaut Red batches in 2018, and Cinsaut Rose and Cabernet Franc batches in 2019. We even had a successful Sangiovese batch in 2017. 

Enter the commercial phase with Boutique Barrels and in 2021 Cab Franc, Carmenere, Cinsaut, Nebbiolo and Touriga Nacional were harvested to produce 5200 bottels of wine. In2022 Nebbiolo, Carmenere and Cinsaut were harvested and processed to produce a total of 3 666 botles of wine. In 2023 Carmenere, Cinsaut, Nebbiolo, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Amarella were harvested and processed to produce 5000 bottles of wine.
